Forgive me for not posting this one January 1st at 00:00, but I was too busy having a good time (and attempting to eat 12 grapes...). We are a week into 2018 so I might be a little late compared to many other bloggers, but good things take time.

I am not one to do "new year resolutions" or the whole "new year, new me" thing.  If there is something I want to change, I do not  have the patience to wait until December, 31st at midnight to start doing it. However, I do like to set goals for myself. It does not only remind me of everything I have achieved, but it also keeps me motivated and makes me work harder.

So here are some of my goals for 2018

Whilst I am not terribly unhealthy, I do have a very sweet tooth and I eat way too much sugar. I have probably reached my recommended daily intake of sugar by 11AM.  So I am going to actively try and switch my sugary snacks for slightly healthier options, and cut down on the cocktails. Trying to avoid diabetes, you guys...

I also should start drinking more water, I guess a glass a day won't cut it.

For a 22 years old who lives in London (where even breathing costs money), I am not too bad with money. But I do also enjoy my shopping trips to Zara Home, Anthropologie and ASOS - and I buy several overpriced useless stuff that I most definitley don't need.

So I am aiming to reduce the number of unnecessary shopping trips and maybe save some money in the process.

I go through phases with my skincare. One month I'll be a little angel and moisturise daily, clanse my face, use a weekly face mask, toner, etc. And then the following month I will barely take my make up off.

Here's to 2018, the year I hopefully start taking care of my skin - consistently.

In whatever shape or form, I'm ready for a challenge.

Happy New Year everyone! I hope all of you had a great 2017, and here's to an even better 2018!

I wanted my first post of 2018 to be something along the lines of "My goals for this year" or "How to make 2018 your year". These would have both been great posts (and maybe you'll get to read them in a few days or weeks) but for now I will share something a bit more... practical.

Netflix is adding some great shows and movies to its already pretty good collection, and after spending about a week browsing Netflix all day and all night, nothing could make me happier than some fresh content.

Here's what I'll be watching this month:

I started watching HTAWM last summer and you can imagine my disappointment when I realised Netflix only had season 1 and 2 (out of 4!). I devoured those two first seasons and was left craving for more... so when I woke up on Jan, 2nd and realised season 3 was out on Netflix UK I practically jumped.

Not going to lie, it's been so long I do not even remember how season 2 finished but I guess I will use this as an excuse to rewatch the whole series!

Brace yourselves for what I am about to say, it always causes some kind of reaction: I have never watched Friends. Ever. I am not super into comedies, and I am very specific with what kind of humour I like, and for some reason I thought I would like Friends.

When it came out on Netflix I decided to give it a chance as I needed something light and easy to follow to watch every morning whilst I get ready. It is not my favourite show ever, but I like it and it is great to watch whilst I am doing something or if I need some cheering up.

This is one of my favourite shows ever. It is the only comedy I would watch over and over again and still find it funny. The sad news is that this is not actually out on Netflix UK, but it is out (and has been for quite some time) on Netflix Spain.

Leaving Spain after Christmas was made specially hard because of this very reason, so I am now trying to find a way to change my VPN or something to be able to watch it... Desperate times call for desperate measures.

I love most of Jennifer Lawrence's films, so I feel like I would definitley like it. I remember watching the trailer when it came out and being quite pleasantly impressed. However, I quickly forgot about it (too many films nowadays... can't keep up). Now that it is going to be on Netflix I have no excuse not to watch it!
