Going on holiday with your friends can be muuuuch trickier than it may seem, specially if you're student and aren't made of gold.

To begin with, everyone will have different budgets, different expectations, will have visited different countries before, etc. So finding a destination that everyone is excited to explore is HARD. After many conversations and Google searches, I think my friends and I have found a few countries we all agree with and hopefully it all works out. In order to save you all this time and energy, I decided to share with you some cities or countries I think are worth visiting and that are not too expensive. I'm giving you the help I wish I myself had. How nice of me.

If I wasn't from Spain I would go on holiday to Spain fairly often. It is a great place to visit during the summer since the weather is lovely and cities like Barcelona are so lively specially during those months. There are also slightly colder environments in the North of Spain, or beach paradises like the Balearic Island or the Canary Islands. So basically, anything you're looking for you're likely to find it in Spain (unless you want a big city).

I personally am not a fan of beach holidays, probably because I come from a beach holiday destination, but I much rather go explore a city and natural parks. Switzerland is such a beautiful country, with stunning nature and national parks as well as beautiful lakes and architecture.

Rome is probably my favourite city in Europe, the architecture is simply incredible.  I was in awe all the time I spent walking around the city and I would go back any time. Leaving how picturesque and unique the city is aside, the food is unbelievably delicious. Even if you don't care about architecture or ruins  or the city itself, go just for the food.

Greece is known for its marvelous islands - Mykonos, Santorini, Rhodes, Ios and many more. We have all seen stunning Instagrams with the hashtag #wanderlust. Whilst places like Mykonos can be a bit pricey, there are many other islands that are less well-known and therefore cheaper. They might not be as breath-taking as Mykonos but they have so much to offer, from crystal clear beaches to cute small towns.

There is so much to see in Croatia, not only stunning beaches (which I have already mentioned I am not a fan of) but it also has some fascinating national parks. It's one of those countries where you can't just visit one city or town, you have to move around and make the most of it!

As someone who has been living in London for four years now I can say there is not a bad time or season to discover everything this city has to offer. It doesn't matter if it's -5C or if it's 30C, London never stops and there is no way you don't fall in love with it. It has countless landmarks, free museums, edgy and up and coming neighbourhoods and massive parks. Come to London and you'll want to stay forever.

Am i engaged? No

Am I getting married anytime soon? No

However, who doesn’t love weddings?

Most girls grow up imagining what their wedding will be like or what they will wear. Wedding dresses are kind of like men: there are plenty of them and every girl knows what kind they want. The problem is that they can get very expensive (wedding dresses that is, not men) and not everyone can afford a Vera Wang or Rosa Clará.

I was recently contacted by this online store called Aisle Style that, as the name itself suggests, offers a wide variety of beautiful and cheap wedding dresses for your big day. And when I say cheap I mean as little as £80-100, so a pretty good bargain in my opinion. They have anything you might want - from lace to mermaid style to mesh.

I have always dreamed of a massive fluffy dress, I always say I want to look like a cloud… but I also have a thing for short wedding dresses. They look so dainty and different to ‘classic’ dresses - and they are ideal for a beach wedding where you don’t want to deal with a big dress and sand.

Instead of start raving about how beautiful all these dresses are, I decided to pick a few of my favourites and share them with you. An image is worth 1000 words!

I am not one to wear lipstick every day. I'll go with a nude shade if I'm feeling it but most days I'll just wear lip balm. However, Sunday brunches, weekend adventures and the sporadic weekday dinners are a whole different thing.

Doing my make is one of my favourite things so when I have the opportunity to do a full face I love adding some lipstick for a pop of colour - since I rarely use eyeshadow. There are a few items I have notices I reached for the most and that I always end up using in spite of my efforts of using my less worn products.

I used to think red lipsticks didn't suit me, which is partly true. Many red shades look horrible on me but this one is such a beautiful colour and I love how it looks with my skin tone. This is the only matte lipstick I have and it makes me want to get more as I love the look of it, my only worry is that I don't want the lipstick to be too drying!

I got this one before the holidays - I thought it would be the perfect shade for Christmas and NYE. I talked about it on my recent post Recent Favourites, I was a bit disappointed at first as it isn't as matte as I was hoping but I do think it's a beautiful colour and I do like the finish even though it's not 100% matte.

I only got this very recently when a friend gave it to me as the colour didn't suit her. I absolutely love this colour for every day wear. It's such a gorgeous pinky nude - it looks very natural but makes my lips look so cute! I also really like the formula as it's very hydrating and fells very smooth.

This is THE perfect nude shade for me. Unlike the YSL lipstick, this one is more brown and since it's a lip liner the finish is completely matte. Whenever I wear this I feel like Kylie Jenner - well as much as I will ever feel like her....

“Out and about” posts are probably my favourite posts to write and create. Not only because I get to share places I visit and love with you guys but because I love looking back on them in the future. If you follow me on Twitter you’ll know I have spent the holidays revising everyday, so I didn't have much time to go out and do fun stuff. However, on January 1st I took the day off (going to bed at 5AM and revision don’t really go together) and went hiking with my family.

We visited a tiny tiny town called Biniaraix, which was in the middle of the mountains and then went on a short hike where we were meant to see some waterfalls. Unfortunately, many of them were dry (just my luck) but some of them did carry water and it was cool.

I don’t think I have ever seen proper waterfalls - and if I have I clearly don’t remember - so that’s the reason why I thought it was cool. If you have been lucky enough to visit places like Niagara Falls or Iguazu falls… well don’t judge me.

It was a great way to start the year - rather than hangover in bed - and I would definitely love to do it again next year! Even though I’m thinking I might want to spend NYE in London next time, the fireworks look so pretty!!

The new year is always an excuse to set new goals and to try to create a better and improved version of ourselves. Hence the popularity of new year’s resolutions - eating healthy, working out, being organised, etc. You know the drill.

Fashion is one of many ways of expression. What you wear sends a message to everyone who sees you and it portrays yourself to the world. So with only a few weeks into 2017, many of us are looking to renew our wardrobe, and to find pieces that really represent us and makes us feel who we are.

Now that I am 21 (scary, I know), I want to try and dress a bit more classy and stop wearing leggings almost every day. One of my favourite shops to get new clothes from is StyleWe - it’s an online fashion store with anything from jumpers, to skirts to hoodies. I find that most of their pieces look very stylish and classy, whilst being rather inexpensive at the same time.

They have a lot of one piece jumpsuits which I feel are perfect for me because they are the mixture of comfort and chic; kind of like classy sweatpants. As someone who is quite short and not very big in general, I sometimes struggle to find clothes that fit me properly length-wise. They offer many petite jumpsuit styles that cater for many different tastes and look super cute!

I thought I would share some of my favourite items from their website with you. Some of these items I don’t think I would ever be able to pull them off regardless of how much I love them (not everyone is Kylie Jenner…), but some other styles are definitely very wearable and easy to style!

I am the kind of person who will get obsessed with random things for a month or so and then I’ll forget about it as soon as I find something else I adore. I guess it’s the novelty of new or forgotten old things.

From body sprays to watches and food. We all have this one favourite type, brand, style, etc. So here are some of the things I’ve been loving recently.

Let’s start off with my all time favourite item. Everyone knows the classic black and white Anthropolgie mug with the different letters. I had been wanting it ever since I laid my eyes on it. When I walked into the store in December and saw the golden version of it I almost squeaked and obviously had to get it. I've been seeing it everywhere since it came out, countless bloggers and instagrammers have it and no wonder why. It’s so stunning and makes me feel classy. The only downside is that it’s not microwavable which is a bit annoying.

Next thing is something I never thought I would have, let alone love it so much. It’s a Daniel Wellington watch. I had heard of the brand and had seen many people raving about it. When I heard the name Daniel Wellington, I immediately thought of their famous pink and blue watch (which I very much dislike) which is why I was pleasantly surprised when I got this one for Christmas. I love how simple and minimalistic it looks. My favourite bit is the rose gold detailing, and it looks so beautiful with the brown leather strap!

Something else I have been loving is VS Pink’s Wild At Heart body mist. I much prefer body sprays to perfumes for an every day use. Not only because they are lighter but because they are also more affordable. This one is a ‘refreshing body mist with red passion fruit and sheer musk’ - all I can say is that it smells very sweet and fresh so if you’re into this kind of scents you will love it!

Finally, my last favourite is something I first didn’t quite like. It’s Maybelline’s Vivid Matte Liquid in Possessed Plum. I say that I didn’t like it when I first bought it because it’s not really matte. Maybe my expectations were too high, but I was expecting a similar look to Kylie’s - you know, that gorgeous rich matte look. This is a beautiful colour and it looks very nice on but it doesn’t 100% dry out so, even though it’s not shiny, it doesn’t look very matte either. Nevertheless, I love it and it’s my go-to lip product when I want a bold lip!

Je suis back! After several weeks of barely no social life and no free time, I have now taken (and hopefully passed) what’s probably my last final ever. It feels so weird. Let’s stop talking about school though.

About a week ago I received some super cool clothes from one of my favourite online stores, Zaful*. They always have such cute stuff and their workout clothes are the best! Online shopping is my favourite way of procrastination so obviously some damage was done during this past month. Here you have the outcome.

My favourite item is by far these mesh leggings. I’ve been wanting ones like these forever but could never find the perfect ones. I love how the mesh adds some edginess to my outfit and it makes me look so sporty!

I also got  some fancier tops which I very much needed. I’m a bit obsessed with velvet so got a velvet black long-sleeved crop top and a velvet pink-ish top (the colour looks a bit weird on the photo, it's a bit more brown in real life). I feel like the black one will look incredible with a black skater skirt or black high waisted jeans.

Off the shoulder tops were all I wore during summer so, in an attempt to make winter feel slightly more like summer, I decided to get a long-sleeved version. As one might expect, it is not the ideal warm item to wear when it’s below zero degrees. However, on those warmer winter days it’s something great to wear with a warm coat.

Another more summery top I also got is a simple black crop top with the very well known and super trendy zig-zag cross thingy. I can’t wait for summer so I can wear this with a pair of high waisted denim shorts and dainty jewellery.

Finally, I got a red hoodie because you can never have enough hoodies. This hoodie with the mesh leggings is currently my go-to outfit when I’m not feeling tight jeans. It’s so comfy but it looks like I’m going to the gym and have my life together. Win-win.

And that’s all I got this time around, I’m ridiculously thrilled to ditch my revision sweatpants and start wearing cute clothes again!!

HAPPY 2017!!💥

I have spent the last few weeks revising 24/7 for my January Exams, which is why I haven't really been active on here. But I wanted to write a short post and wish you all a happy new year! We all know 2016 wasn't the best year in human history so hopefully 2017 is going to be somewhat better, and maybe we human beings stop messing with everything we can.

I will be back in about a week and start posting regularly again but for now, I'll leave you with some of my new year's resolutions. Maybe putting them on the Internet will make me stick to them, for once.

  • Write more
  • Spend less time on my phone/social media
  • Read books instead of watching movies
  • Eat less sugar
  • Wake up before 8AM every day
  • Actually read AND reply to text messages
  • Only eat out once a week
  • Drink more water

And remember, as the wise Dumbledore once said:

"Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light."
