If you follow me on Instagram you’ll probably know by now that I absolutely love brunching. As I mentioned on my Sunday Rituals post, there’s nothing like waking up on a Sunday and getting ready to have brunch with your friends. I’m always on the lookout for new cool places to try, the good thing about London is that there countless cafes and restaurants so you never run out of places. Recently, I decided to go to a cafe called Farm Girl, located in the heart of Notting Hill. I had heard amazing things from this place both from friends and from other bloggers/instagrammers so I had high expectations.

We got there at around 10:30ish and it was already quite packed but luckily there was a free table outside and, since the weather was alright, we decided to take it. As soon as we sat down they brought us a jar of water with cucumber that, even though I’m not a big fan of cucumbers, tasted very nice and was so refreshing. The venue itself is very nice, laid-back and Australian-looking. Indeed, the cafe is inspired on a rural farm outside Melbourne where one of the owners grew up.  I’ve never been to Australia myself but this is what I would imagine an Australian cafe would look like.

I decided to order the most Instagrammble food on the menu - a pitaya bowl (£9) and a rose infused latte (£3.10). My friend went for poached eggs with avocado (£8.50) and orange juice (£3.50), but they had run out of the latter which I found a bit strange since it wasn’t even 11AM. The drinks arrived quite quickly, we had to wait a bit more for the food but nothing unbearable. The bowl was even better looking that I was expecting, with very bright and vibrant colours. And the latte was honestly the most beautiful coffee I’ve ever seen. Taste-wise, they both were amazing. The latte had quite a strong rose taste,I personally didn’t mind it because I love rose but bear that mind. The pitaya bowl tasted very fruity (obviosuly) and fresh, and I loved the crunch of the coconut flakes and the chia seeds.

Personally, I loved this place and I’m sure I will go back another time. I really want to try their pancakes, which looked incredible and their 3-Egg Omelette - the guy sitting next to me had it and it looked so good! Also, their glittery doughnuts are something I need to eat at some point in my life.

P.S I was featured on The Haut Mess so check it out!

Life has been quite eventful recently - I finished my written exams, my vivas, I started working on my research project, got an internship, got featured as the June Collaborator Highlight on The Haute Mess, etc. So, I thought it would be a good idea to write a post on what else there is to come, to share my excitement with you. So, here’s what I’m looking forward to!

Getting my results. I recently got the results for my vivas - which were so much better than expected and made my day - so I am somewhat excited to get the results for my written exams. Even if they are not amazing, I just want to know.

Going back to Spain. This is the first time ever I spend part of my summer somewhere without a beach and where the weather is not exactly summery. And as much as I love London, I am very excited to go back home and enjoy some proper summer!

Seeing Kate. If everything goes as planned I’ll probably see Kate - my long lost twin sister - for a few days before leaving London. I haven’t seen her since February so it’s about time… (Kate if you’re reading this you better come before I head back home)

Exploring London. Now that I’m done with uni I have some more free time to explore new areas of London, or even re-discover some of my favourite neighbourhoods like Notting Hill, Richmond or Soho. I’m excited to have some more weekend adventures before heading back home!

Travelling. Hopefully I’ll do some travelling this summer. I’m going to the North of Spain and South of France for a week and might go somewhere else in summer if I manage to find some cheap flights and accommodation! Germany and Norway are totally at the top of my list!

As you may already know, I am a bit addicted to online shopping. It’s probably my favourite hobby, which is bad because it’s not a very affordable hobby. Now that it’s officially summer, I am despreately looking for cute summer dresses and tops - both casual and fancy - to spend my summer days and nights in.

I recently discovered an online store called StyleWe*, which  brings to you unique fashion from independent designers around the world. Any style you may like, sexy, elegant, cute etc., you name it, they have it! They are committed to providing original, high quality, and exclusive fashion products that you don’t want to miss. Their prices are also very affordable for the quality they offer!

Personally, I love their selection of dresses, they are all to die for. They are so original and unlike what you would find at any high street store. I feel like they are perfect for summer dinners and parties, and you can choose if you want a more casual vibe or a more put together look. You’re bound to find one that you love!

My favourite designer on the store is definitely ELF SACK. It has the most original and unique clothes that, unlike other ‘unique’ pieces, are very wearable and easy to style. If I had to choose my favourite piece of clothing, I would definitely choose the ‘graffiti dress’. I find it so original and it’s such a statement piece. I’m not one to go for colourful things but I would totally make an exception for this one!

After having a browse through their website I now feel the urge to buy so many clothes… even though I just placed an order not too long ago. I need help guys, maybe I go to one of those Anonymous Shopaholics meetings in a dark basement somewhere dodgy in London. If you don’t hear from me in a couple of days, call the police.

So, to the point, I would 100% recommend StyleWe if you’re looking for cool, unique pieces for this upcoming summer.

Two or three years ago I used to have only one perfume that I really liked and use it only on special occasions like parties, dinners, etc. Fast-forward a few years and I am incapable of leaving the house without any sort of perfume or body mist. I kid you not, I can’t even go to Tesco.

Currently, I have three that are my go to scents when I’m leaving the house (I swear, I do go outside… some days). I try to use body mists, which are generally more affordable, for my everyday scent as I don’t want my expensive perfumes to run out too quickly. At the moment, my favourite body mist is Hollister’s Crescent Bay. I have had this one for probably two years so I am not too sure they still have it as I know they’ve changed the packaging recently, and they might have changed the scents as well. It smells very fresh and girly, and it’s very subtle so it’s perfect for spring and summer.

Next, we have my most recent favourite Chanel Chance Eau Vive. I had been lusting over this Chanel perfume for so long and I eventually got it for Christmas! I love how simple, yet sleek, the bottle is. This one is a bit more sophisticated, it has a stronger scent. It also smells very fresh - jasmine with a hint of citrus.

Finally we have a perfume that I didn’t really like that much when I first got it. A while ago, I got obsessed with Marc Jacobs’ Daisy. Two of my friends had it and I literally loved it, and it’s all I wanted in life. I can’t remember the exact reason why I ended up getting Oh, Lola! Instead but I think it was because I was having a hard time finding Daisy. Anyway, I now love this perfume and, as you can see, is pretty much empty. I probably have one or two uses left but I can’t bring myself to finish the bottle. Again, it has a sweet and fruity scent (I think there is a clear pattern here). It smells like a mixture of peonies, vanilla and pear - a gorgeous combination!

What's your favourite perfume?

There is something about Sundays that makes me feel relaxed and happy. Maybe it’s the fact that I am allowed to sleep in and spend a few hours in bed enjoying my breakfast whilst reading my favourite book. Maybe it’s because of the many Sundays I’ve spent exploring London with friends. Or maybe it’s the mandatory Sunday brunch, yes, that’s probably it.

Sundays are my favourite days of the week. It’s the one day I allow myself to do whatever I want - to forget about uni work and to enjoy myself. I don’t have a ‘Sunday routine’ but there are certain things that I just love doing on Sundays. Here are a few of them.

I love waking up later than usual but not too late, otherwise I feel like I’m wasting my time - so around 10AM is the perfect time. Most days I can’t afford to stay in bed for long as I usually have somewhere to be. On Sundays, though, I love staying under the covers whilst having breakfast and either reading Elle’s newest issue or watching an episode or two of Sex & The City.

If I don’t have plans to go for brunch or explore London with friends, I love getting fresh flowers - if you know me you’ll know I’m obsessed with flowers, they make any room look so lively and happy, and they smell lovely. My favourites are lilies and peonies. I’m a bit OCD when it comes to what my bed looks/smells like so I oddly enjoy changing and washing my sheets. Nothing can compare to getting in bed and smelling freshly washed sheet and lilies. This is genuinely what I live for.

Many Sundays I’ll go for brunch with whoever is free - I’m always down for brunch. One of the best things about London is that there is always a new place to try and they are usually very Instagrammable which is a plus. My favourite places to go are The Good LIfe Eatery (they have the tastiest healthy food, their acai bowls are amazing ), The Breakfast Club (best pancakes ever) and Granger & Co (nothing can top their avocado on toast). I really want to try Farm Girl Cafe and The Wildflower Cafe, which are both in Notting Hill I believe.

If it’s not the nicest day outside - as it is the case many Sundays in London - I like to stay in and write some blog posts and sometimes, inevitably, I’ll have to do some uni work.

This is the first time ever I am spending part of my summer in a city. I always go home to Mallorca for summer break and, since all I do there is sleep and go to the beach, my everyday make-up routine is pretty much non existent. Being in London, though, makes me feel like I should look put together (you never know when you’re going to run into David Beckham…) and since the weather it’s a bit (A LOT) chillier, wearing makeup doesn’t bother me. Even then, I still like to go for a natural look. Not only does it make it quicker to get ready in the mornings, but I also think it suits my face much better than a full on smokey eye look.

This look literally takes me 10min max and, don’t worry, it doesn’t involve any complicated techniques (i.e. no winged eyeliner) so anyone can do it. If I can, you totally can.

I start off by applying my favourite foundation MAC Pro Longwear - I mix the shades NC25 and NW35 to get the perfect colour. Then, I use Rimmel’s good old Stay Matte Powder in 006 Warm Beige. After that, it’s contour/highlight time! I recently got Sleek’s Face Contour Kit in Medium 885 and I’m 100% loving it. The bronzer isn’t orangey at all (PRAISE THE LORD YES) and the highlighter has a gold undertone which just makes it look absolutely fab.

Next, I fill in my eyebrows using Benefit's Goof Proof Brow Pencil. And since doing my eyebrows is just inconvenient and time consuming I use Skimp from Urban Decay's NAKED2 Basics palette to highlight my brow bone and cover any small hair that I can’t be bothered to pluck.

Finally, I use an angled brush and Bobbi Brown’s Gel Liner in Smokey Topaz 5 to line my upper lashline and then Benefit’s They’Re Real Mascara to finish it off. If I'm feeling like using some lipstick I'll go for Clinique's Pop Lip Colour + Primer in the shade Nude Pop - a lovely nude colour with a pink undertone.

It’s been a while since I’ve done one of these posts, and I think this just proves how boring and revision focused my life has been during the past few months. But after endless days spent in the ugly, silent and full of surprisingly good looking guys; I am ready to go out and explore London as much as possible before going back home. A few days ago one of my friends and I decided to go to Richmond.

I had been there before during the winter but after wandering around its narrow picturesque streets and exploring its many beautiful blossoming parks, I know where I want to live when I grow up and have a family. I can’t find a better way to describe it than a typical small English town - even though it’s a neighbourhood in London, not an actual town - you see in many movies like The Holiday.

We took the tube to Richmond Station and walked along Richmond High Street and the Thames river (or at least, I assumed it was the Thames... I think that’s the only river in London). Strolling along the river genuinely felt like we were in another country, it reminded me of Florence actually. And the high temperatures made it even less like England. We visited the Terrace Gardens, which were absolutely stunning and once we had reached the top we found outstanding views of the park and the river.

From there we walked to the massive Richmond Park and found our way to King Henry’s Mound, which is totally the place to go if you love flowers as much as I do. There are so many different types and colours, and they look so lively! By that time we were starving so went to the Pembroke Lodge Cafe to have a sandwich and some cake. Lunching there was the literal description of lunch with a view. After that we just walked around the Isabella plantation, which made me feel like I was in Mexico - even though I’ve never really been there. To finish off this perfect adventure, we went back into town and got some ice cream at this amazing place called Gelateria Danieli.

I’m not going to lie, I have been doing A LOT of online shopping recently (blame revision) but most times I ended up returning 95% of the stuff I bought either because I didn’t like it or because I felt guilty and knew I didn’t need any of the beautiful tops and skirts I had bought. However, I did keep some stuff that I needed which have now become staples in my wardrobe. And, since I felt guilty for spending money, I decided to start using some of my old stuff that I hadn’t used in forever. You know, these lip balms that end up at the back of a random drawer and you forget they even exist so you go to Boots and buy a new one.

My first favourite is probably the item I wear the most ever since I got it: my bomber jacket. It’s from Zara and it’s not only absolutely beautiful but it’s also perfect for this weather and goes with all of my outfits (as you can probably guess from my Instagram).

Another favourite of mine is a necklace I got a few months ago from ASOS. As hard as it may be to believe, I hadn’t fallen for the choker trend yet. However, I bought this half choker necklace and I’ve been wearing it as often as my outfits have allowed me. Another cool thing about this choker is that if you undo the knot you can wrap it around your neck and looks really cool.

The next two things I’ve been loving are Nivea’s lip butter and my new SkinnyDip phone case. I got this Nivea lips butter last fall but stopped using it because it slightly tinted my lips pale pink and I didn’t like it. I love using this as soon as I get up to prep my lips for lip liner or a matte lipstick.

Finally, I've been loving OPI Sweet Heart nail polish. It's a very light pink shade that, even though it looks great now, it will look 10 times better once I don't look like Edward Cullen anymore and spend some time under the sun!

These are all of my current favourites, what have you been loving?

Any girl knows the struggle of literally being incapable of making your hair look decent some days, sometimes our hair just refuses to cooperate. When we find ourselves in these kind of situations we are left with two options: 1. Give up on life and put our hair in a bun 2) Use hair extensions. I personally look horrendous in a bun so that leaves me with only one option. Hair extensions are amazing (hence why celebs like Kylie Jenner use them) but finding the right ones can be hard.

I recently discovered the online store* when some of my friends purchased their clip in hair extensions. As per usual, we were all a bit skeptic because in spite of being 2016, I still not 100% trust an online store unless I’ve previously bought stuff there. However, their products turned out to be as amazing as they looked online. They blended with out hair amazingly well, as they are 100% human hair so overall we were positively impressed with everything. So you can imagine how happy I was when they contacted me and asked me to review and talk about some of their products.

Hair extensions are a great way to achieve celeb like hair or just to have long hair when you want to try new hairstyles or just feel like changing your look for the day. Ever since I got my hair shorter I’ve been wanting to braid it and it really annoys me that I can’t as I love braids, so by using hair extensions I can rock some cool braids whenever I feel like! I’m also the kind of person who gets really bored of my hair really quickly so hair extensions allow me to change my look in literally minutes and without making the change permanent.

When buying hair extensions, you have to be careful as many retailers might sell very cheap ones that look, indeed, very cheap. And you don’t want your hair to look cheap, do you? (Hint: There’s only one right answer to that question). Besthairbuy sells really high quality hair extension, as I’ve said they are all 100% real human hair, and at a really affordable price! So it doesn't get any better than that, guys.

They offer a wide variety of styles like Brazilian Remy weave, Virgin Brazilian Hair, Peruvian, Malaysian and Brazilian Hair Bundles. They offer all kinds of cheap brazilian hair that looks incredibly good and not cheap at all! So if you're looking for great hair extensions to either make your hair longer, or make it more voluminous, besthairbuy is the place to go and I could not recommend them more, as I totally love all of their products!
