I like to keep things simple, in general. I don’t like clutter, it stresses me out. The same applies to my make up, specially when I’m travelling. No one like to carry 20 eyeshadow palettes and 10 different bronzers.  So here’s what I usually keep in my travel make up bag:

MAC foundation: This foundation is the shit, honestly. It’s a bit on the pricier side but it’s so worth it, the coverage is impeccable but it doesn't feel heavy at all and it lasts all day. There’s no better feeling than getting home at 9PM and seeing that my make up is intact, it’s worth the money, trust me.

Rimmel’s Stay Matte Powder: I’ve been using this for years and I don’t think I’ve even tried any other powder, ever. Therefore, I can’t really compare but this gets the job done and it’s quite cheap.

Sephora Compact Powder Foundation in Cacao: I use this as a bronzer. It’s not amazing but for some reason I have two of these, even though I do not remember buying them. So, I cannot justify spending more money on make-up until I finish these two. Nevertheless, I like that it’s matte and that it doesn't look too orangey. However, it’s quite dark and very pigmented so I have to be careful when contouring, otherwise I end up looking like a cheap Kim Kardashian.

Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Sparkle Shadow + Liner in Smokey Topaz : I got this back in December when I went to Bicester Village. When I saw this gorgeous gel eyeliner was on sale I couldn’t not get it. It’s a really dark shimmery brown that’s perfect as an eyeshadow when going out or as a soft eyeliner for a more natural everyday look.

Naked Basics Palette: This is the best Christmas gift I’ve ever been given probably (other than my camera), I use this literally every single day. I use Primal to fill in my eyebrows and Skimp as a brow bone highlighter. Eyebrows on fleek.

Benefit’s They’Re Real Mascara:  I’ve always heard so many people rave about this product, and I totally understand why. It’s genuinely such a good mascara. My lashes look amazing and it doesn’t smudge AT ALL. The only downside is that it’s a bti hard to remove but a good waterproof make-up remover will do the job.

MAC’s Lip Liner in Boldly Bare: This is my one must-have lip product. I love how smooth it’s on the lips and how long lasting it is. I can drink and eat and it will stay on. This is a really natural looking shade, a la Kylie Jenner.

‘Will you accept this rose?’ Anyone who watches The Bachelor is probably sick of hearing this sentence but, at the same time, we all love it and can’t help but smile every time the chosen women accepts it - that is, unless it’s Olivia…

Despite not living in the USA I managed to watch the finale as soon as possible and I have to say it was a pretty intense hour and a half.

Ever since episode 1 I wanted him to choose Lauren B, my main reason being that she looked scarily similar to Aspyn Ovard. She’s so pretty and cute, and I think she and Ben just look perfect together. I do also like Jojo, and she’s really funny and outgoing (and her hair is goals), but Lauren is Lauren.

I kind of knew he was going to choose her since there were A LOT of rumours online and when he told her ‘I love you’ like a hundred times and said he’d been in love with her for a while, I knew it was very likely he’d pick her. And he did!

Something I hated about the episode was how annoying Ben was saying over and over and over and over again that he loved two women and that he was a lost men and blah blah. Like, we get it. You love them both, and we get it, you don’t know who to choose. But you saying literally the same sentence about 100 times, is slightly irritating.

I think it was a bit unfair on Jojo how he led her on. He told her she was his bestfriend and that she was SO special to him. I don’t know if he did that because he genuinely didn’t know who he was going to choose, or because we, the viewers, love all that drama a bit too much. Regardless of the reason, I feel a bit bad for Jojo. But hey, she’s the new Bachelorette to props to her!

In spite of what I just said about Ben, his decency kept surprising me throughout the whole episode. I’ve said that so many times but Ben is such a nice and decent guy, I really hope he’s like that in real life. How he handled the break up with Jojo was so sweet it didn't even feel like a break up. And when he proposed to Lauren I almost cried - the only reason why I didn't is because I was in the library surrounded by people.

I don’t really know what the point of this post is, to be honest, but I just felt like writing about The Bachelor since I’ve been obsessed with it lately. If you haven’t watched it and like reality TV shows and have a lot of free time (or just want to procrastinate) you should totally watch it!

If what you want is to become a responsible adult and get your work done efficiently, I’m afraid this is the wrong post for you. We all like/hate to procrastinate. It’s safe to say 99% of us would much rather be watching a movie, reading a book ,hanging out with friends or doing something we truly enjoy than revising or doing homework. And whilst, yes, it’s important to be responsible and get our shit together. It’s also important to take a break, so I’m going to share with you my favourite ways to procrastinate.

Magazines. I love reading, I used to read a lot of books when I was in high school. Now, unfortunately, I don’t have a lot of free time and I only read a few books a year. I do love reading magazines. They take less time and, even though I don’t get as emotionally attached to them as I get to books -nothing will ever beat a good book-, they do provide me with some entertainment and inspiration.

Cleaning. I cannot be the only one who genuinely enjoys organizing and cleaning my room. The satisfaction and pleasure I get from seeing a clean and perfectly neat bedroom is amazing and makes procrastination feel a bit less like procrastination.

Eating. I mean, who doesn’t like eating? Especially if it’s a red velvet cupcake from The Hummingbird Bakery.

Online Shopping. ONLINE SHOPPING IS DANGEROUS, like really dangerous, especially when your credit card information is already stored and you get presents magically delivered to your door with a simple click. Check out my favorite online stores, just helping a girl out here!

Getting rid of hair. I know this sounds weird but by ‘getting rid of hair’ I mean waxing/shaving/doing your eyebrows. It’s something I usually dread but find incredibly entertaining when I should be revising.

A while ago I did a post on Must-Watch Movies on Netflix and, since people seemed to like it, I thought I would do one on must-watch TV shows. I’ve watched many and many TV shows, good and bad, funny and dramatic. I’ve seen it all, my friends, except for Game Of Thrones - I tried, people, I really tried but it’s just not my thing.

Grey’s Anatomy: I binge watched it in literally 4 weeks, was it a wise decision? Not really, considering I had exams coming up. Was it worth it? Absolutely yes. Following the lives of these doctors and interns is pretty fascinating and I guess it’s kind of educational… I mean, you do learn some medicine.

Gossip Girl: If you haven’t watched that yet, what did you do in your teenage years? Because I spent mine pretending to be Blair Waldorf. It’s basically a bunch of rich kids from the Upper East Side living crazy lives.

Suits: A hot kick-ass lawyer and a fake hot kick-ass lawyer in Manhattan who slay together. That’s all you really need to know.

Castle: Richard Castle is a best-selling mystery novelist who helps the NYPD solve murder cases. It’s really fun to see how his creativity is sometimes more useful than the knowledge of all these trained detectives.

Pretty Little Liars: Basically, everyone pretends to be dead. And those who don’t, are pretty much murdered by A for some stupid reason. Combine this with great fashion and fit boyfriends and you’ve got Pretty Little Liars.

The Bachelor:  Okay, this might be a bit of a controversial one. I’ll be the first one to admit, it’s not the best TV show quality-wise. However, I find it strangely entertaining and quite interesting. In case you don’t know what it is, it’s a reality TV show where 28 women ‘compete’ for the bachelor -  a guy they go on dates with and eventually hopefully fall in love with and marry.

Before starting my blog I had never been really passionate about photography, I liked to take pictures to capture my happiest moments but never really gave much thought to it. I didn’t try to make the pictures aesthetically pleasant or perfectly centred, I just wanted to be able to remember that moment forever.

Over the years I’ve learnt how to properly use my camera and how to edit my pictures to make them look my best, the latter is what I’m going to share with you today. If you would like a post on how I use my camera/photography tips, let me know in the comments!

First thing first, the camera I use to shoot 99.9% of my pictures is a Canon 1200D with the EFS 18-55mm lens. It’s the most basic Canon DSLR and it does the job so I’m really happy with it! The software I use to edit the pictures is Adobe Photshop CC, which is a paid programme but if you’re into photography I definitely think it is worth it. If you don’t want to pay there are some free alternatives like iPhoto (for Macs only) or PicMonkey (online).

The first thing I do is select the picture/pictures I like the most (I usually try to take several and then choose my favourite ones) and open them on Photoshop. Then, I alway increase the brightness using the Brightness/Contrast Tool and, if the background is too dark for my liking, I’ll selectively increase only the background brightness, leaving the objects as they are - I do that by using the Brush Tool in black and ‘painting’ on all the objects, making sure the Brightness/Contrast Layer is the one selected, so that this layer doesn’t apply to them.

Then I increase the vibrance to about +50 using the Vibrance Tool  and use the Sharpen Tool to increase the sharpness. I usually also use the Hue/Saturation Tool and increase 'Lightness' to about +10 to make mi image whiter in general, it adds like a 'white filter'.

Finally, if I want to add some text I’ll add it using the Horizontal Type Tool and I’ll choose which font I think fits the post or the picture better - I get all my fonts from Here I used COCOMAT for ‘my skincare’  and DJB Oh Suzannah for ‘routine’. On Macs you can access your Font Book by typing it on the spotlight search, I find it really useful to be able to see all my downloaded fonts in one place before choosing which one I want to use.  I then like to add some kind of shape, like a rectangle, around the text to make it stand out and kind of pull the whole picture together. To centre both my title and the rectangle I select those layers, then use cmd+A to select the whole canvas and finally using the Aligning Tools I centre them.

And voilĂ , here you have the final image!

If there’s something I’ve been kind of obsessing over recently, that has to be Instagram. The amount of time and thought I put into deciding which filter to use or what picture to upload is a bit concerning, not gonna lie. But that also means I’ve been spending a lot of time scrolling down my feed and double tapping many photos, so I’m going to share with you some of my favourite instagrammers. Also, check out my Instagram account if you want!

I need to tell you something: I’ve found the most inspirational and badass book. You’ve probably heard hundreds of people talk and rave about it. If not, where have you been? I’m talking about my new favourite book: #GIRLBOSS by Sophia Amoruso. The humoristic and somewhat sarcastic way she explained her story captivated me and had me glued to the pages. I would totally recommend it to anyone who’s looking for a lifestyle kind of book. It’s great, trust me.

Another favourite of mine is a recent addition to my MAC lipstick collection that I got through a giveaway! It’s in the shade Russian Red and has a matte finish. I have to say I used to NEVER wear red lipstick as I thought (and still think) they didn’t suit me. I don’t know what it is about this shade but it’s the first red lipstick I’ve ever tried that looks good on me so props to you MAC.

I recently got my belated birthday presents from some of my friends and one of the things I got was this gorgeous Kate Spade Bangle. I’ve been in love with it ever since I first saw it in November but couldn’t justify spending that much money on it. It’s such a cute bangle though, I love how simple and minimalistic it is. It says ‘Heart Of Gold’ on the inside which I think it’s just adorable and totally represents me because, I mean, I am gold *insert princess emoji here*.

After loosing not one, but two cards in the a week or less I decided I had to stop shoving my cards in my pocket so I got a card holder. This one is from Cath Kidston  and even though I’m not totally in love with the design itself, it’s proven to be super useful and it’s helped me keep all my cards in one place and not loosing them.

Finally, another recent favourite of mine is Rimmel’s nail polish in Go Wild-er-ness. It’s a beautiful lilac which I think will look even better during the summer/spring time. It’s the first nail polish from Rimmel that I ever try and I’m quite happy with the both the pigmentation and how long it lasts - around a week applying a top coat.

One thing is certain: I suck at sports. Football, rugby, tennis, you name it. I wasn't born to play any. However, I do enjoy going to matches with my friends. It's a great way to spend the afternoon catching up and observing fit men working out (there's also the gym, but that would require me to work out too...).

When going to, for example, a basketball match there's solely one thing I want to accomplish: to look like Gigi Hadid going on a date with Cody Simpson or Joe Jonas. So I put some outfits, mainly inspired by the attires worn by Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid and Cara Delevingne to such events.

All these outfits can be easily modified to show your support to your favourite team. If you're looking for tickets to your favorite teams game you can check out TickPick! They offer cheap NFL tickets, and as well as tickets to NBA and MLB games, concerts and more! In the first outfit you could change the white shirt for a white t-shirt with your favourite player's name engraved on the back. In the second outfit you could wear a baggy t-shirt with your team's colours and tuck it in, instead of wearing a crop top. And for the last outfit you could just wear a flannel that matches your team's colours!

Let me know which one is your favourite in the comments!
