Kimonos || Favourite Trends

 The kimono is a traditional Japanese garment that is a bit different to what  we now wear or see at the stores. The proper kimono falls down to the ankles and it covers the whole body, just like a dress. However, the kimonos we now wear are not exactly like that. They are like oversized cardigans with different patterns. We probably call them kimonos because the style is similar and the patterns might be inspired by Japanese kimonos.

As I've just said, kimonos are like oversized cardigans and they are normally made of a thin fabric which makes them very light and perfect to wear on those cold summer nights. Depending on where you live they can be your best friend in autumn and spring too. They are very easy to style: denim shorts and black or white top and you're ready to go!

Kimonos have become very trendy this last year and it's not hard to see why - they are comfortable, cute, easy to style, and can be either dressed up or down. Also there are so many different styles that you're gonna find one that you like for sure!

What are your thoughts on kimonos? Do you like them?

  1. I do like them, but the one I've bought is SO long, I've not worn it out at all which is a shame!
