I'm off to revisionland!

Hello people! I have a week left of holidays and then I start my last term of uni before summer. Summer term means exams and a lot a lot of revision, which leaves me with barely any free time to blog. I finish my exams on June, 20th, however I am not saying I'm not posting anything in two months! I will be posting some things but not as frequently as I do now.

If you have exams coming up, I wish you the BEST of luck and if you don't, then you are already lucky! ;)

Wishlist || Spring #2

Hello everybody! The other day I was putting some outfit ideas together for my post when I fell in love with the most beautiful backpack I had ever seen, that is when I decided to do my second wishlist for spring/summer.

spring wishlist 2
The first thing in my wishlist, and probably what I want the most, is the fringe backpack which is just perfect. I found it on Pinterest so I don't know where it is from, if any of you know where I can get a similar (or exact) one let me know!

I'm sure all of you have seen the famous 'Parental Advisory' jumper or t-shirt,  celebrities like Kylie Jenner, Cara Delevigne and many more have been seen wearing it. However, the original one costs around £1000, and I am not willing to spend that much money on a piece of clothing.  I found this crop top on Etsy and, to be honest, I like this one better than the original one and the price is much more affordable.

Something I have been wanting for ages is the Nike Free Run 5.0 trainers with Swarovski crystals. I'm probably not going to buy them as I bought a new pair of trainers a few months ago but I have to say they are surprisingly 'cheap', they are around £110 which is not that expensive for a pair of Nike shoes with Swarovski crystals.

The next three things are pretty basic. I don't necessarily want this exact clothes but something similar. I've been on the hunt for a bomber jacket for a while now but I just can't find one that I really like. I think they are perfect for spring or cold summer days as they are quite thin. I also want to get a normal pair of high-waisted shorts, I love high-waisted anything and even though I do have quit a lot of similar shorts to this one, they are either distressed, dip-dyed or something. The last thing I want is a flowy cute dress for summer to wear to the beach or over my bikini, this one from Brandy Melville looks lovely!

What's in your spring wishlist?

Flower Crowns || Getting Ready For Summer

Shoutout to my sister for editing the photo!

Hello everyone! I know, I know, spring started only a few weeks ago and I am already writing a post on summer... I just love summer, okay? And it's never too early to get excited about something you like.
If you have a Tumblr or WeHeartIt you will have seen thousands of pictures of flower crowns. I've always thought they look very cute and fairy-tale like. However, I never thought I would actually buy one as I still don't know where I should wear it. I got mine from Choies for 5€ which is quite cheap as the ones from Topshop cost around £10. I personally love it and can't wait to wear it in summer!
I am not going to any festivals this summer so I'll probably end up wearing it to parties and around the house. However, I would like to find a way to incorporate it into my every day outfits. And where do you go when you want outfit ideas? WeHeartIt!

(All the 'outfit' pictures are from WeHeartIt and therefore I do not own them)
What's your favourite accessory for spring and summer?

Wish I was at Coachella || Outfit Ideas

Hello everybody! I guess most of us are not in Coachella right now but that doesn't mean we are not going to any festivals this summer or sometime soon. This is why I decided to put some outfits together to get you excited for whatever you are doing this summer, whether it is a road trip, a festival, a concert, a family vacation or just having fun with your friends!

Spring Nail Polishes || Favourites

Hello everybody! Now that I am back to Spain I'm starting to feel like spring is here and summer will be soon! You know it's spring when you stop using all your dark colours and start using pastels and bright colours on your nails. I am a sucker for pastels, I love anything pastel and nails polishes are no exception. Here you have my favourite nail polishes for spring!
Essence Colour&Go in 115 Redvolution // All Intense Core Beauty in 026 Abbey Road

Topshop  in Celestial// Essence multi dimension XXXL shine in 73 Replay// Avon in lemon sugar // Barry M in 66 Matt White

The first one is the classic red but more summery, I wouldn't say it's coral but it's similar, it's an orangey red. The only problem with it is that it only stays on for about two days which kind of sucks.

The next one is a colour I would've never bought because I don't usually like orange but my mom bought it for me and I love it now. It looks so nice on and it reminds me of the sun which makes me excited for summer.

This Topshop nail polish is my all time favourite, it's such a pretty colour! I bought it almost two years ago and I've used it so often I'm surprised I still have some. It's almost empty though, but I'll definitely be repurchasing it!

The next one is a mint shade which is very very similar to Essie's Candy Apple but for a much cheaper price. This one is quite old so they don't sell it anymore but I wish they did!

The next one is a pastel yellow which looks lovely when you've got a nice tan.

Last but not least we have my most recent purchase. A white nail polish. This is a must-have for everyone as it looks nice on its own but you can also use it as a base and do some nail art on top of it!

These are my favourite nail polishes for spring and summer, which are yours?

Chewy Banana & Oats Cookies

Hello everybody! Summer is approaching and we are all trying to be a little bit healthier. I have a very very sweet tooth, I would only eat sweet things if I could, unfortunately most sweet things are quite bad for you... oh well!
I was searching the Internet trying to find some tasty and not full of sugar cookies when I found a very very simple recipe. You only need basic ingredients, nothing fancy.
  • 2 cups of oats
  • 2 bananas
  • Nuts
  • Cinnamon
  • Chocolate chips (optional)
This recipe is fool-proof. It's too easy to be true. First preheat the oven at 240 degrees celsius. Take two cups of oats and using a blender or a food processor blend them until they look like flour. Blending them is not necessary, just optional, you can use regular oats if you want. Then smash two medium bananas and mix everything together. Then add some cinnamon and  nuts to add some crunchiness. If you want, you can add dark chocolate chips as well.  Place the mix on a baking tray with some non-stick oil, reduce the oven temperature to 180 degrees and bake the cookies for around 20min.

They taste amazing, unless you don't like bananas of course, and they are healthy as there is no added sugar or weird chemicals. They are perfect to have for breakfast or as a sweet snack!
If you try them let me know in the comments!

Divergent || Movie Review

Hello everybody! A few weeks ago I did a review on the book Divergent by Veronica Roth (here), I loved the book so much I read it in less than 24 hours and read Insurgent and Allegiant in one day basically. Of course, I was looking forward to the movie, I mean, who doesn't fancy staring at the perfect face that Theo James has?

I have to say I watched the movie online, so the quality wasn't the best. Before you all kill me for not going to the cinema, I'll explain myself. I live in London during term time and in Spain when I don't have university. The movie came out on April, 4th in the UK and by that time I was already on Easter break and at home. I leave Spain on April, 25th and the movie comes out here on May and I was NOT going to wait a whole month to watch it because we all know Tumblr and Twitter are full of spoilers.

Now, let's talk about the movie. Let me tell you something, I've watched the movie 7 times already and I don't usually watch movies more than twice. I just can't get enough.  I like the fact that the main character is a female and that she is not weak and people don't pity her, she becomes strong both physically and mentally and able to defend herself. She is independent.

The movie is a very good adaptation of the book, of course it's not an exact replica though as that is just not possible (even though I wouldn't mind at all if it was a 5 hours movie). There are some scenes that didn't make it into the movie that I thought were important but I guess the director knew what he was doing.

I personally think that the cast was perfect. Theo James looks a bit older than 18, I know, but let's be honest, who would want another actor to play Four once they've seen Theo, no-one. He does a very good actuation, going from being a complete asshole ("What makes you think you can talk to me?" Are you for real? Why can't she talk to you, you little piece of shit?) to being super adorable. Shailene Woodley is perfect for Tris, she's quite skinny and not very tall and she doesn't have that gorgeous 'i'm could be a top model' face (I'm not saying she's not pretty because she is, but it's a different kind of beauty). Her actuation I think was amazing, you can see she's got determination but at the same time she feels weak inside. Needless to say, Kate Winslet was perfect in the movie, but she always is.

Have you seen or read Divergent? What did you think of the movie?

Revlon Colourburst Lacquer Balm || Beauty Review

Hello there! I think everybody has heard of these Revlon Balms, and everybody seems to love them as well so I decided to buy one and see what the rave was about! I got the Lacquer Balm in 120 Vivacious ExubĂ©rante. If I am to be honest, I think I got that shade due to the pretty packaging. Each shade has a different colour of packaging and I kind of fell in love with this shiny hot pink!

Lucky me, the shade is also beautiful and very wearable. I have to say it reminds me a lot to MAC Impassioned, they are both very pretty bright pink shades that will look lovely with a nice tan on in summer or even spring!

This one has a lacquer finish but it doesn't look to glossy at all and it doesn't feel sticky either. It is not as pigmented as a lipstick but, as its name says, it is a balm and for a lip balm it is very pigmented and lasts quite a lot.

The only thing that puts me off is the smell. If you've read my other beauty reviews you will know that a nice smell can  make me buy a product even if I'm not too sure about the product itself. Now, this one doesn't smell bad but it smells like mint and I don't like mint. However, it's not a very strong smell so I can deal with it. Needless to say, if you like the smell of mint you'll like this one!

Overall, I am very pleased with this product and I might purchase other shades soon, I would like to try a matte shade.

Have you tried these lip balms? What did you think?

Airplane Outfit Ideas!

Hello everybody! So as you may have noticed, my last posts have all been travel related. That's because I really like taking flights (call me weird) so a few days before taking my flight back home I got quite inspired and scheduled a few posts. Anyway, here you have two outfit ideas that you could wear if you are flying somewhere and want to be comfy.

The first outfit idea is the comfiest I think, it's simple but it seems like you've actually bothered to put some clothes on and look presentable. You could wear any pair of black jeggings or leggings and your favourite hoodie.  The beanie works perfectly if you can't be bothered to do your hair.

This second outfit is a bit more 'dressy' but still very comfortable, this one would probably work better if you live somewhere a bit warmer. This is quite similar to what I wore, London turned out to be rather warm the day I left so I had to make the most of it! Again if you can't be bothered to do your hair (aka me everyday) put it up in a messy bun and you're done!

Which one is your favourite? What do you like to wear when you're flying somewhere?
